Marth Tech: Front Pivot

Description / How To Perform

A Front Pivot is a sort of "double pivot". Front Pivots are done by dashing in one direction, smashing the analog stick in the opposite direction, immediately smashing the stick back forward, and then either inputting an attack on the single standing frame (similar to a Perfect Pivot) or releasing to neutral before inputting an attack (similar to an Empty Pivot). These can be used to perform attacks like Jab or Ftilt out of a forward dash.

Difficulty:    (Master)

Usefulness: (Rarely Useful)

Extra Info

  • Although there are potential uses for Front Pivots that haven't been explored, most people wouldn't bother to use them on Marth due to the power, relative ease, and consistency of Pivot Fsmashes.
